JUST CAVALLI PRE-FALL 2013

Okay this is too good. It looks like a final fall-winter collection, not just a pre-fall. Amazing. I wish I could afford all those animal prints and amazing coats and jackets, I'm in love. Collection is just perfect for young women, it is classy and sophisticated with a young edgy touch that animal prints give to a collection.

BURBERRY PRORSUM PRE-FALL 2013

 
It is still winter 2012, but fashion world is in the next year's cold season already. New collections from Pre-Fall 2013 can be seen and I have to say Burberry is one of my favourites of the season again! Gotta say I love Christopher Bailey, he's amazing.

FAVOURITE LOOK

You know the feeling when you dream that you could afford anything and just go shopping with no limit on your credit card? This would probably be one of my favourite looks of this season. I have always loved the classic combination of an amazing dress, high heels, a great asymmetric jacket and a big bag. A girl can dream!

MSC DIVINA

In October, I had the chance to visit the newest MSC cruiser, Divina. I went to Venice (for the 3rd time that month) and behind three other cruisers, I recognized the new MSC ship, that was enormous and so beautiful. Every new ship that they make is pure success, everyone more beautiful that the one before. I know that there were several accidents with cruise ships in the last few years, but none of those ships an MSC. 

RANDOM INTERNATIONAL - RAIN ROOM

If you love rain as much as I do, you really need to see this, or even experience it. Random International have created an amazing installation called Rain Room in which you can watch the spectacle or even experience it. You can walk under the 100 square meter gate, hanging from the ceiling, pouring down a stream of water. The best thing is that the clever motion detection sensors redirect the stream of water away from you, so you don't get wet while walking around the room and admiring the rain. 

SHOES FOR FALL

I am looking for a perfect pair of boots for this autumn/winter season and I still haven't found one. It can be pretty annoying, looking all those beautiful high fashion shoes, but not being able to afford such an expansive pair of them. I will probably buy a pair of Michael Kors or Guess boots, since they are very comfortable to wear, even if they have high heels, and the quality is great. They are not so expensive like those I admire and I fell in love with them, but they are very good to wear too.

THE STARTUP KIDS

Many young people in Slovenia (and all around Europe, if not also around the world) can't find a job after they finish their college education. Of course that depends on the education they have, but for designers and web entrepreneurs it is very hard to get a job in this country. They might have some great ideas, but it is still hard to make them come true, if they don't have any money or they don't know any people who would invest in a idea. But still, I think people should try and do their best, think positive and be patient, and if they would be great at what they would like to accomplish, they will succeed.

 
This is a trailer for an upcoming projection of a film about young web entrepreneurs, founders of some well known firms, and their stories about how they got the idea and make it into a real life story! If you live in Ljubljana, you can see the movie on 29th of november at 19.00 in Kino Šiška.  

 

LE BIENALLE DI VENEZIA

This was my second trip to Venezia last month. It was my student duty to visit it and I have to say I enjoyed it very much. To see all those amazing sculptures, concepts and realized projects from well known architect was pretty amazing. I have to say this is an event everyone should see, not only architects and students of architecture. If you like art, you should visit this too, even though there is an art exhibition every second year. In between there is architectural exhibition, where different countries and different architectural firms have their own rooms or pavilions full with different projects. Some of pavilions are an art themselves.

KEANE IN LJUBLJANA

DIESEL BLACK GOLD SPRING/SUMMER 2013

Diesel has made some amazing pieces for the upcoming season, I must say I fell in love with their skirts, jackets and shoes. I know they make the best jeans ever and I love their beautiful pairs of jeans but I must say they impressed me more with other pieces this time. Their collection is so wearable, you can wear it on a night out, or just to go to school. It is a bit edgy, but on the other hand very elegant. And, of course, I love the black and white combination, it is my all time favourite.

ZVEZDA

Today was a good day. After my classes I took a walk around the old town of Ljubljana and did some window shopping. There are so many beautiful things in shops and boutiques, I could buy them all! But since I am not a millionaire, I didn't buy any clothes or shoes or bags today, I just went to Zvezda, our local cafe, which opened a new place called Deli this autumn.

One of the coolest collections for spring/summer 2013 for young, classy, but a bit funky women. I must say I simply adore these looks, I have to get my hands on those jackets, dresses and bags next spring!

VENICE

 

NEW BEGINNINGS

New beginnings. I am not sure if I always like them, but this time I must say I love them. I am happy as never before, I am in love with my life and I love people around me. Of course there are still bad days and days when there is something bothering me, but I am trying to be positive and keep my head up in every single moment. So here it is, my 'new' blog, that is going to be more personal and hopefully more interesting to read. Cheers to new blog, cheers to new beginnings!
